Our dentist, John E. Sullivan DDS, will remove sufficient tissue along with remaining teeth prior to the point at which dentures are added.  Furthermore, we go to the extent of analyzing the bone structure beneath your teeth to guarantee the dentures will not cause problems.  If necessary, the bone will be surgically altered to ensure the dentures fit just right.  The denture base in combination with wax rims facilitates accurate measurements for optimal comfort and functionality.
