Yes. Mild to moderate discomfort is common after many procedures and should improve over a few days. Pain that worsens, does not improve with medication, or is accompanied by swelling should be reported to our office.
Light bleeding or blood-tinged saliva is normal for up to 24 hours. If bleeding becomes heavy or does not slow with pressure, please contact our office.
Yes. Composite (tooth-colored) fillings harden immediately. However, if you are numb, avoid chewing until sensation returns to prevent accidental biting.
Yes. Temporary sensitivity to hot, cold, or pressure is common and usually improves over several weeks. Deeper restorations may take longer to settle.

In most cases, yes. Teeth that have had root canal therapy are more fragile. A crown helps protect the tooth from cracking or breaking.
Yes, but gently. Avoid brushing the surgical area for a few days as directed. Continue brushing and flossing other areas to keep your mouth clean.
Stick to soft foods such as eggs, yogurt, soups (not hot), mashed potatoes, and smoothies (without a straw). Return to normal foods gradually as comfort allows.
Implants typically require several months to fully integrate with the bone before final restoration. Healing time varies by patient and location.
